EDDY STREET COMMONS AT NOTRE DAME

Eddy Street Commons at Notre Dame is a mixed-use development adjacent to the University of Notre Dame campus in South Bend, Indiana. The project contains 86,500 square feet of retail space, 75,000 square feet of office space, and 300+ residential units. Eddy Street Commons at Notre Dame gets its market support from three distinct segments: South Bend area residents, university students and visitors and downtown office workers. South Bend has over 300,000 residents.   There are nearly 30,000 university / college students in South Bend, including many within walking distance of Eddy Street.  There are over 50,000 office workers within a 2 mile radius of Eddy Street, including all the largest employers in the region.  A limited service hotel, Fairfield Inn and Suites, will begin construction in fall 2009 followed by a full service hotel in 2010 bringing 350 hotel rooms to Eddy Street Commons at Notre Dame.
