Parkside Town Commons is a mixed-use retail development with residential and office components. Parkside will have a strong daytime market as wel as serving the family friendly towns of Cary, Morrisville, and Apex. Parkside Town Commons is adjacent to Research Triangle Park (RTP), the largest research park in the U.S. RTP is home to over 140 companies employing more than 41,000 and another 10,000 contract workers. The Raleigh-Cary MSA is the fastest growing in the U.S. according to statistics released by the U.S. census in March, 2009. Though the housing market has slowed, the Parkside trade area is still experiencing 500-600 closings each quarter.
